چکیده
Abstract The objective of the present study was to develop prediction equations for digestible energy (DE) and metabolizable (ME) in swine diets based on chemical compositions feces with no dietary information. A total 262 fecal samples obtained from growing pigs fed 27 4 experiments were used. mainly corn, soybean meal, other plant-originated feed ingredients. In digestibility experiments, urine quantitatively collected using marker-to-marker procedure. diet analyzed dry matter (DM), crude protein, ash, neutral detergent fiber (NDF). Digestible ranged 2,907 4,374 kcal/kg DM ME 2,774 3,983 DM. Fecal ash positively correlated DE (r = 0.81, P < 0.001) 0.66, whereas NDF negatively –0.66, –0.74, 0.001). developed components were: 88.1 + 0.37 × – 0.28 (R2 0.57, 0.001); (kcal/kg DM) 3,604 32.8 11.1 0.71, 4,077 15.7 18.1 0.63, where are expressed as % conclusion, digestibility, values, values concentrations can be predicted without

Metabolizable Energy and Chemical Composition of Poultry by-Product Meal
This study was conducted to determine the chemical composition and metabolizable energy of poultry by-product meal (PBPM) from two slaughterhouses in Iran. Samples were analyzed for dry matter, crude protein, ash, ether extract and gross energy. The amounts of calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Manganese, copper and Zinc were determined. The apparent metabolizable energy (...
متن کاملMetabolizable energy and digestible amino acid prediction of wheat using mathematical models.
Wheat is a common raw material used to provide most of the energy and a great portion of amino acids in poultry diets. The routine investigation of metabolizable energy (ME) and digestible amino acid content determination are costly and time consuming for wheat grains. Therefore, it would be helpful if the energy and digestible amino acid content of wheat grain samples could be predicted from t...

The apparent DE and ME values of crude glycerol for growing pigs were determined in 5 experiments using crude glycerol (86.95% glycerol) from a biodiesel production facility, which used soybean oil as the initial feedstock. Dietary treatments were 0, 5, or 10% glycerol addition to basal diets in Exp. 1; 0, 5, 10, or 20% glycerol addition to basal diets in Exp. 2; and 0 and 10% crude glycerol ad...
